Daniel Simón and journalist Alejandro Fuentes embarked on a compelling assignment to Africa, sponsored by Miguel Hernandez University and Trendsplant Clothing, a dedicated local brand committed to sustainability in Spain. This project chronicles their impactful journey through Northern Kenya.

Set against the backdrop of Kenya's diverse landscapes and vibrant cultures, this documentation captures the essence of exploration and discovery. It unfolds as a narrative of cultural immersion and firsthand encounters with local communities, shedding light on their traditions, challenges, and resilience in the face of adversity.

Supported by their academic and corporate partners, Daniel and Alejandro's expedition goes beyond mere documentation. It embodies a collaborative effort to foster understanding and appreciation for global diversity while highlighting the importance of sustainable practices in both academic and commercial endeavors.

Through photography, journalism, and personal reflection, this project aims to inspire a deeper connection to the human experience and encourage dialogue on issues of cultural exchange, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. It stands as a testament to the transformative power of exploration and the enduring impact of cross-cultural engagement in a rapidly changing world.
